Dr. Richard Proctor - Inventor and designer of the Living Motion System

The Living Motion System was invented by Dr. Richard Proctor, a full time chiropractor and Qualified Medical Evaluator in San Rafael, CA. A true pioneer in the world of fitness and exercise equipment, he was the founder of Elaine Powers - the largest national chain of women’s gyms of its time. Dr. Proctor’s many inventions are still used in health clubs around the world. He also founded and operates Proctor Development Inc., where he continues to create and manufacture new types of equipment for the health industry, as well as the architectural and solar energy industry.

Kenneth Eckhardt, D.C., is a Living Motion distributor for the North Bay area of California. He sells Living Motion System equipment to doctors and individuals, therapy, sports and home units. He plans to open Living Motion Centers in his area in the near future. He is available to train and set up chiropractors to incorporate the Living Motion Exercise System into a highly successful practice.

Dr. Eckhardt completed his undergraduate training at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 1988. He began his career as an intern at Wilson Chiropractic. A year later he was chosen for a two-year residency at an alternative health resort in Sonoma County. Afterward, he established a practice in Petaluma and later joined North Marin Chiropractic in 1994. Along with his general practice, he specializes in sports related injuries and worked with athletes in professional rodeo, running, biking, swimming, horse riding, and Iron man competitions. He is certified by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians and is credentialed in Active Release Techniques®.
